more blood; more thanks

Updates
Last Thursday was a long day. Left for the clinic at 8 a.m, returned at 7p.m. Received three transfusions, bringing the total to 17 in the last 24 days. My apologies for the lack of updates all weekend—I was out celebrating with my newly acquired blood.
Heading back to the Clinic tomorrow at 9am. Thanks to all, past, present and future blood donors, words across a computer monitor can hardly capture the immensity of my gratitude.

Like I said, earlier, in my frenzy of shocked-post-family-member commenting, if he hadn’t gone to give blood, nobody would have known about the dismal blood count.
