Over the last few months the focus in the United States has been on town hall meetings rather then what proposed health care reform legislation will really mean for Americans and their care.

Agreeing on cutbacks now may help hospitals later.If  all Americans have health insurance—in some shape or form—then hospitals will see increased reimbursement long term. Hospitals aren’t stupid.

A man needs a heart transplant, he needs heath insurance Per his sister, ““How can a sick person navigate the system…I am healthy and can barely do it on my own. The system is designed for people to get frustrated and give up.”

Is reducing administrative cost and unnecessary care is the simplest way to save money in health care? Dr. Levine may be on to something here…
